does it make a difference if you give the cpu team a large cursor rather than small or if you give them high var pitching rather than med? im talkign about starting a game and then switvhing sides to set the cpu options, then changing back. does anyone know?

Apparently it makes a world of difference. I had a game on very small - didn't get too many hits. I then changed it to small and I was getting more.
However, the key to hitting is in the variablility of the CPU pitcher. I was informed that MVP is more realistic then HVP. Although I wasn't able to try it out yet, I think they're right.
My slider settings are changing everyday, but since I'll be away for the next two days I won't be able to test the new slider settings till then, but I have a hypothesis for what should be better.
CPU Pitching combined with MVP - 100 (This is the KEY to realistic hitting and not getting struck out too much!)
But remember that having this on HVP may make it too easy for some while MVP may make it more difficult. If it's too difficult at MVP then I'm thinking about changing it back to 60 or as high as 80; depending on the number of hits and strikeouts that I get in the game.
CPU Batting Average - 20
So far this has been good to me, so no need to change it.
CPU Batting Eye (Balls) - 90
Same explaination as above
CPU Batting Eye (strikes) - 70
At 60 I had 10Ks with Milwood in 8 Innings against the Marlins. I'm aiming for less then 10, but more importantly, not to get so ahead of the count every single time I face a batter. Not getting ahead against the batter is more important to me than K's
CPU Throw Strikes - 10
Some people had this setting at 1. WOw, I mean I'm willing to do that if the CPU Pitch Ability at 100 with MVP is taking away my balls to strikes ratio. (It was good at 100 and HVP because the CPU threw 25-30 balls a game, but I was getting around 10-12 hits per game.)
I hope some can play with these All-Star settings at MVP, No K zone, no Pitch cursor, no Vibration, and small batting cursor.
Thanks
