Just got HH...Now what?
I just received HH as a gift. I am currently playing WSBB and MVP(Seems like more MVP than anything as going back to cursor is hard to do). So anyways, should I keep HH? Now that it's been out for a while how about some "final" thoughts on the game to help me decide....Joshua:

Re: Just got HH...Now what?
I've got MVP here unopened so I can't compare it to that but there's no way I would get rid of HH2004. When it all boils down you can count on HH to yield the most realistic results and to have solid and smooth gameplay. -

Re: Just got HH...Now what?
Here is my opinion. You should return it and get another game all together. You already have MVP and WSB. From what I have heard WSB is pretty comparable to HH in gameplay and is better in graphics. MVP would be great when you have friends over.
I recommend you take it back and get Dirt to Daytona (awesome game if you like racing) or another game of your choice, looks like you have plenty of baseball to keep you busy.Comment

Re: Just got HH...Now what?
Skyboxer,
I haven't played the other baseball games, so I can't make any comparisons. I have played 13 (6-7) games in my HH (Xbox) franchise so far, and I just can't put the game down. My last 4 games that I have played I was (1-3). Game one 2-3 L, Game two 2-3 L, Game three 3-1 W, Game four 4-5 L. Even though I'm not doing so well, I'm having fun. I'll admit I'm not the best video baseball player, but I'm getting good results with this game. I'm the kind of baseball fan that loves 3 to 5 runs scored per game. Don't get me wrong, I have blown out the comp scoring 10+ runs on a couple of games, but most of my games are pretty close.
I've read a lot of posts talking about how bad the graphics in HH are. If you'd ever played HH on the PC, you could immediately tell that this years version is the best that it has ever been. The animations are also better than in years past.
I want to try out the other games and I will once Blockbuster has them available for rent. I'm the kind of gamer that likes to devote my time to one title per genre, so I'm not going to buy all the other titles. If I were you, I'd drop by your local Blockbuster and rent it before you opened up your copy.
Question: I've heard that WSB also has non-cursor hitting, is it that bad that you use the cursor based hitting?Comment

Re: Just got HH...Now what?
Thanks for the input...Still haven't decided. WSBB has the cursor and after MVP I am having a hard time going back to it even though the rest of the game is nice.
I know in WSBB you can turn off the cursor but then it is all timing and no location swinging like HH.
Have to think this over and decide in the morning.Joshua:

Re: Just got HH...Now what?
my choice (suggestion)? i have HH for my lap-top and MVP & ASB for the XBoX. WSB is a complete joke! HH grfx are very nice. the faces and the absent of accessories are the true things holding it back. the game play is still not matched, but MVP does come close.
i still don't see why ppl like WSB. just looking at MO Vaugh (amoung other players) and the batter/pitchers interface in that game are terrible!....
I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...Comment
