    Thanks for the input......
I know the graphics are not great but are they good enough that I won't regret opeing the game. They aren't butt ugly are they. I know gameplay is the most important thing but in 2003, graphics have to at least tolerable....

i find the graphics on xbox totally acceptable, once i get into a good game i don't really notice that sort of thing, it's all about the gameplay, IMO

PS: i have HH2002 for the computer and there is absolutely no comparison in terms of graphics quality.

I would say keep HH. But if you're more of a guy who likes alot of options go with a different game. That's the only problem I have with HH. The gameplay in HH though is reason enough for me to keep it.

                    Re: Just got HH...Now what?

I ended up buying all 4 of the main baseball games for the Xbox - then taking back 3 when I figured which one I liked best...

ASB - great features, iffy gameplay, and some very weird fielding animations... but getting back on track.

I had never played High Heat before reading about it on these boards last year and then finally buying it this year... Some people here on this board really need to lay off the "high heat looks horrible" because it really isn't all that bad. Granted it's not the WoW factor of WSB - it gets the job done. I personally think the animations are just as good if not better in some spots of world series, but some may over look that since the player models don't have the WoW factor of WSB. I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of the action view in HH, but thankfully you can turn that off. The gameplay is where HH really does shine - it's nice to be walked - not have a zillion hits per game and having faily close the majority of the time.
I'm 30 games into the franchise modet and played all of them... it's very additictive gameplay for us sim nuts and for anyone that really enjoys baselball. You do have sliders for TONS of settings that none of the other games can touch.

Now WSB has a really deep franchise mode... it really is the best on the market, but if you plan on playing a lot of the actual game the fun factor starts to drop off quickly if you are looking for realistic numbers... The gameplay is decent, but not as good as HH is. Don't think I'm slamming the game because I do think it's the 2nd best of this years games, but it's just not as fun as HH.

I'll give MVP a nod due to the pitching interface, but beyond that I realy didn't enjoy it as much as WSB and HH. Next year though EA is going to have a very strong game. I wasn't all that impressed with the fielding and how the guys will take stutter steps before you throw while you power up the throwing meter.

I'll leave it at this... if you want to sim more games than play them go with WSB, but if you plan to play a fair amount or all of the games - stick with HH. Either way you'll be getting a game that's hopefully right for your you.
