I hit Wade Miller pretty good with my expansion team. Had 12 or 13 hits off him.

Sounds ALOT more realistic this year then last years. I was thinking about buying WSB2k3 but I think I'm just going to have to stick with the winner. Thanks for helping me decide guys.

It is a LOT more realistic in my opinion. I remember now in last year's game, I got about 30 games into a season w/ the Braves (before the game was traded in) and had about 20 HR with Chipper Jones.

This year's game is not nearly as HR friendly. You actually have to score runs the "normal" baseball way in a lot of games. I've gone on stretches of 3-4 games without a single homer. It's taken me about 20 games or so, but I'm finally starting to hit a LOT better, getting sac flies, hitting with runners in scoring position, and most of all, starting 2 out rallies.

I say it is realistic, but my stats are kinda inflated because of the easy teams i'm going against... My SB and CS are high because I'm more of the old school baseball person... I'm aggressive when it comes to bases...

just started the month of August and Bonds leads the league with 33 Hr's. All the stats look really good.

                        Lets see.....
I am a huge Mets fan and I play with them exclusively. In my last game I go into the 9th with a 2 run lead, so I bring in the big guy (Benitez). And just like in real life, he blows the lead, and I lose by one run.
                        Pretty accurate.....lol

depens how far you take out your sim--I had barry bonds on the roster at age 48-- Glavin was still a starting pitcher in the league at age 46 before the thing froze up on me--no telling if Bonds ever would have hung em up--- it skews the career stats by going that long--I heard of a few who had guys playing into their 50's
