like he said, maybe there wasn't enough time spent on the "Timed Hitting" feature?

It might be that it's telling you what happened, not that it means you can do anything about it.

Yeah, Im not so sure the analog stick has nothing to do with it. I use swing feedback also. To test this, I just pressed the swing button and I would miss balls. The swing feedback would say "Swung over, or swung under, or swung inside" I only started hitting the ball when I moved the analog stick to where the ball was.

            Exactly.
I tried to test it using the power swing, and most of the swings are uppercut swings, no way are you hitting a ball down the middle or at the knees for that matter. Once I started moving the analog stick, I started to make contact. I thought it was only me who saw this.

hmmmm interesting. I may have to try this. Altho, I hope it does'nt become to easy even with the strike zone off and very fast piches.

So is the thought here that timed hitting IS actually like HH and it's just the lack of animations that make it different?

I would be really curious if someone can confirm that the analog plays a role in timed hitting. That was one of the best things I liked about HH, its batting interface.

I play on Allstar with custom sliders. I have pitching ablity set to 75 and throw strikes set to 10. Believe my even using timed hitting, its far from easy. Although, I may just really suck.

I haven't played HH so I couldn't comment on the batting interface, but I would have to say that I am 90% sure the analog stick does play a role. Unless someone beats me to it, I will play tonight and confirm right or wrong.
