Web Gem!
Woohoo! I just went up over the wall with Mike Cameron of the Mariners to steal a home run away from Kevin Mench of the Rangers! It was soooooo sweet! Mench belted it deep to right center and I saw the target up over the outfield fence on the retaining wall, so I raced over there with Cameron, pulled the trigger and watched Cammy execute a perfectly-timed leap up over the wall to snare it and pull it back for an out. Man, that is one cool thing to see.

Re: Web Gem!
Seeing the thread on in-game saves reminded me how bummed I was last night that I couldn't save this replay. I watched it a ton of times.
I just don't understand why they didn't put in the ability to save games. Obviously the game already has the functionality to save them, because it saves them for you to watch after the play - so why not let us clutter up our hard drives and/or memory cards if we choose to save some and watch them whenever we want?

Because it is not saving them. They are resident in memory (RAM), or possibly in a disc cache on the Xbox. There is a difference between this, and actually saving a file to a hard drive or memory card.5WG | Facebook | Twitter | fiftytwoplays

Re: Web Gem!
It just seems like it wouldn't take much more work to allow us to save that cache data onto the drive or a memory card. Didn't NFL 2K3 have replay saves? I can't remember now.

You can definitely save replays in NFL2k3. I've got a whole NFL Films vault worth of replays on my hard drive.XBL: TancComment

Yeah, I thought so. See, so they had the technology and programming to do it last year - so why isn't it in this game?
