HIGH HEAT 2004 FROZE ON ME. I WAS IN THE NINTH, BEATING THE BRAVES. THOME HAD 3 HOMERS. I WAS UP 7 - 2. TWO OUTS. I THREW A PITCH AND IT FROZE. I CANT BELIEVE THIS CRAP. THAT HURTS. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THIS?

Does HH have a "save game" option? If so, just save every inning or so, and you won't have to worry. -

Hey, Fellas!
Not a usual poster, but wanted to chime in on the freezing issue. I have HH2004 for PS2. I have an older PS2, but out of the 20 games in my collection, none have ever froze or locked up. I got HH the day it came out and have had no problems until this weekend. It constantly locks up. It seems to freeze mostly when it goes between innings and the linescore is on the screen. I have played with the audio and other settings to no avail. I had a funny experience with a lockup, too. After an inning, my pitcher was to be on the mound. Instead, an UMPIRE was on the hill. Just standing there holding the ball. The pitch select menu did not come up and I couldn't make him do anything, so I exited. But it was kinda funny seeing an ump with a glove and ball waiting to pitch!
Anyway, any suggestions, or should I just take it back and try a new copy?

i'm about 15 games in and mine hasn't froze, but....... last night it stopped showing the words out, strike, etc... i tried to turn it off and on and nothing worked. also the audio seems to go out of whack too. high heat, is just not a polished product. other gripes are, the stats: for catchers it has stat keeping for basestealing against them, but it don't keep track of it. the presentation is not done well obviously and you can go over your budget with no penalty. alas, you must overlook all these problems for the best baseball game available in my opinion.Comment

I had a lot of problems with lockups with HH2004...I returned my copy and got WSB2K3 and I've been having a blast with it!Comment
