I'm not sure if the announcers say anything, but the Franchise News section has it.

Re: Anybody who is running a Cubs franchise?
Interesting variation in what people are having with the Cubs.
I'm 3-11, mostly because my pitching has been poor outside of Wood and Shaun Estes. Kyle Farnsworth has a 20.00 ERA and just got a bus ride to AAA Des Moines. I called up Sirotka and made Zambrano my long reliever because he's been too erratic as a starter.
Anyway, batting-wise, the pluses:
--Choi is around .280, no dingers yet.
--Alou is tearing it up, .350 and 2 HRs
--Sosa is en fuego, around .400 and 6 dingers.
--Ramon Martinez (!) is around .330
--Jason Armin..er, Damian Miller is around .330
Average averages:
--Patterson is streaky and keeps wavering between .240-.280
--Grudzelanek started hot but has come back down to .265
The bad and hurt:
--Belhorn has been on the DL since opening week
--Alex Gonzalez is around .250, but started off very poorly
--Hill is around .200 and got benched for Grudzelanek
--Karros is this years Todd Hundley Free Agency Curse recipient, hitting .180.Comment

Re: Anybody who is running a Cubs franchise?
I pitched with Estes last night. Had 12K's against Pitt. His curveball is lethal. I did the same thing with Zambrano, he was getting tattooed as a starter. I brought up Cruz and made him the 4th starter in place of Zambrano. I also traded Alfonseca and Will Cunnane to Philly for Mike Lieberthal and released Paul Bako, cuz he SUCKED.Comment

Re: Anybody who is running a Cubs franchise?
Well after one month in my franchise B. Hill is hitting .391! He is killing it in the lead-off spot. Choi is hitting .341 with 8 hr and 22 RBI (1 more HR and 2 more RBI than Sosa!- the future is now for him). Also I traded for Paul Do Luca and he is hitting .321 for me.
On the other hand Bellhorn and Patterson have been struggling. Both are below the Mendoza line after a terrible first two weeks of the season. But both have picked it up in the last two series so we will see.
Probably the weirdest thing is Ramon Martinez who is hitting .397/2 HR/15 RBI!Comment
