    lol.

Jaybee - I have to agree with you that the idea of hitting zones SUCK. Just a terrible, terrible idea. Learn them by experiencing different hitters. At least have the option to hide them! I hope this hot/coldzone bull**** doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game too much.....

BUT why the hell would I say, pitch to B. Bonds hot zones? Very dumb to have these zones ..

Unfortunately, it will affect your enjoyment of the game, from a distraction standpoint more than anything. It would have been nice to have the ability to hide them, better yet to eliminate them. I would prefer to pitch to or hit with a great hitter without having to focus on his few vulnerabilities. That option/slider minded EA didn't give us more latitude to deal with the zones is puzzling.

I would hope that the the Zones are relative to each hitter. And I do agree that players can, and will get hits in their cold zones if you keep pitching there. And like wise, you can get players out on hot zone hits, but this is baseball, where 3 out of 10 makes you great.

I'm sure they are relative to each hitter,it's just that they are THERE!!!

I just wanna know if anyone has any idea how far the success rates for red/blue deviate from the clear.

This isnt gospel, but Im sure its at least a .025 jump in BA, and maybe even .050.

What I would like to see in next yrs game is pitch count "hotness/coldness". Hitters fair differently in different counts, For example, An "Impatient" (low walk total) Hitter like Soriano is more prone to make an out when he's behind the count, 0-1, 0-2, 1-2. While a Patient hitter(Good Walk total, Can go deep into counts) like Alfonzo(may be the best 2 strike hitter in baseball) may do very well in those same situations.

More personality needs to be added to the players, or player traits. Guys that chase, should chase, Guys that wait on their pitch should wait. Stuff like that
