OK. I finally got fed up with the lack of timing required to pull a pitch (or hit one the other way). So I decided to hold the swing button down before the pitcher threw the ball. (You must do it after he starts his windup though). What happened? I hit about 5 homeruns in a row. Some were to right field and some were to left. Then, I hit some line drives. I tried this with a 4-seam fastball, cutter, and meatball. Balls came flying of the bat. It did not work for change-ups. I'm not sure what to conclude from this.

That's the only thing that bothered me about this game. Everything else was almost perfect. But, for a baseball game, I think the timing is an important element.Comment

If thats the only thing that bothers you, why not enjoy it. If that ruins it for you, please give up video games. It is a game, and only a game.
When you are testing a game looking for things wrong, you will always find something wrong.

Give me a break, guys. I think these comments are unnecessary. I don't have too much time- I've played this game for maybe 2 hours in 2 weeks. And I don't think this warrants a comment that I should give up video games. I just thought it was interesting information. My goal was not to find a flaw... I just happened to notice this.Comment
