I'd give the trade AI an 8 or 9 as well. You definately can't pull a fast one on the CPU very often. I just wish I would get a little more proposals from the CPU, especially around the trading deadline. There has also been a fair amount of trading done between the CPU teams, and Adam Dunn has been shipped from Cincy to Boston, and then from Boston to the Angels a couple weeks later. Overall, I love the trading in this game, and I have to restrain myself from making any more trades.

the trade AI is the best around try getting M.Tejita from oakland or J. G from the yankess and goodluck they wont budge...

Which is funny because the A's already said they're not going to offer Tejada what he'll be asking for, after the 2003 season.... so he's very trade-able.

I would give it a 9 because if you're going after someone good, they make sure they're getting MORE than what he's worth....but the problem i have is that i traded pat strange(prospect from the mets) to the yankees by accident and when i tried to get him back but the yankees labeled him franchise player..his potential is only a b- i think...hes not that great..did this happen to anyone else?

The reason I asked is because there is a clear difference between the trades your own manager proposes and the trades the computer will actually accept. For example, my manager always wants me to offer Aramis Ramirez and Jack Wilson for Deter Jeter. Now, if I offered that to the computer they would laugh me out of the trade room.

Maybe the computer was willing to give you the A-Rod's and Pedro's for Odalis Perez, but from my experience they would laugh at you.

yea, all Managers are stupid in that game, they really are. But I was just messing around to see what I could get for Odalis on my own, and I could have got anyone.
