    One of my batters once got beaned twice in one game in his midsection, and he didn't get hurt. I don't think they do too often in Franchise.

        Ruben Mateo, former Ranger outfield prospect, thought to be one of the best OF prospects in the game, broke his femur running to first trying to beat out a ground ball......he didn't slide at all, just ran to 1st, broke his leg. Never amounted to anything again after that, now with the Reds.

            Injury frequency is pretty low in the game, but I'm glad so my guy doesn't do something and have the an injury not related to it (such as sliding head first and having a broken ankle).
