I just got my first one today. Went long with Kenny Loften of all people and using the contact swing. I'm very proud of my geezer.

Well guess what? They're NOT!!! It's very obvious when I try to hit with power and with contact... they have VERY different outcomes.Comment

I have hit homers with Marcus Giles using contact only. You have to hit the ball exactly in the right spot on contact for it to go out, it's all about the pitch type and the swing timing."A two count is routine. You kick out at two if you aren’t done. Im with you 100% on this one. I went my first 13 games using just contact swing because FP said that both buttons were the same. I had 0 homers. In the 10 games since then I have 11... 6 with manny ramerez.

Im with you 100% on this one. I went my first 13 games using just contact swing because FP said that both buttons were the same. I had 0 homers. In the 10 games since then I have 11... 6 with manny ramerez.

I've hit about 8 homers in 5 games and three of them came off of normal swings. The player I remember hit one off of normal swing was Brian Giles, the other two I don't remember, I think I hit one with Matsui when I mock drafted a team and played one game then deleted... It is by no means impossible to hit homers using normal swing.Comment

it all depends on the type of pitch thrown...a curveball hanging over the plate is basically asking for it to make contact with your bat.Comment
