Try playing against Mike Mussina! He is on my team and I want to kill him when he gets a man on base..

Score another vote for Omar Daal. His delivery has to be the longest in the game. I am even intentionally avoiding playing as the Orioles on days when he pitches. Just sim over em. Can't stand to pitch with him. You have to hold that analog stick still for atleast 8 seconds. It gets tiring after about 4 innings. I agree that it is a no win for Sega though. A pocket of Daal fans would probably bombard them with email if he didn't pitch like he was in slow mo.

Where is it documented that you have to hold the cursor where you want the pitch once you hit the button?

I have never done it and it works fine.. Even with crappy Tigers pitching staff.

I actually like, because it really does throw me off, especially when I'm looking for a certain pitch I start to second guess myself.

The pitch position is locked in when you release the A button (X on PS2). Wherever you put it before that doesn't matter.
