yes i am following those who are good, that is what following baseball is about. I am an A's fan, so following baseball for me is seeing who they will acquire and not bring back for next year, I don't care that Mark McGwire once played for the A's. varitek was great in his prime and will always be respected without a doubt.

as for admiring legends born in the mlb arena i have absolutely no idea what you are talking about since that has absolutely no relevance to anything whatsoever.

I was actually diverted from the topic because you misinterpreted some of my thoughts and took those in a wrong direction.. that's why I decided to first clear your mind and go ahead... I think you're above 12 years of age and now you don't need to be spoon feed I guess.. so follow the baseball as I do and as you're doing..

Why force others to wade through your threads about the Red Sox when they're not really strong discussion points or any special news. If fans of every team posted threads like this in the main Pro Baseball thread, it would get really annoying fast. I suggest you try starting threads with more discretion instead of just posting a bunch of links to your lame site and a bunch of non-stories about the Red Sox. Post news and discussion topics that interest fans of the MLB, if it applies only to Red Sox fans, there's a official team thread for a reason.

Yeah, but this one specifically is non-news. Nothing has happened regarding Varitek yet. I'm okay with the Pedroia one since something actually happened. There's a fine line and this guy didn't cross it with any single thread, just more of his history posting. I dunno, if no one else has a problem with it, I apologize, I just know people wouldn't want to see threads like "What if Pettitte leaves the Yankees and signs with the Dodgers" or "Cano, will he bounce back?" after a certain point.
