Deuce has been a round a lot longer and is much more respected on the forums than you are. He was merely passing on information that was broadcast on WFAN.

Lighten up..Just beause your Yankee fan doesn't mean you're obligated to act like a jerk.

I'm not acting like a jerk, but when someone starts a rumor about a team they know nothing about, it don't matter how long they've been posting on these boards. I wasn't lashing out at anyone, just stating that, Bernie isn't going anywhere, they will move Mondesi before they even consider moving Bernie. The real rumor in NY is, they have talked to Cincy about Barry Larkin, and Cleveland, about Omar Vizquel. Tejada would be a nice addition, but when people start throwing things around like trading Bernie, I feel obligated to correct them. If you guys think Duece is a repected member, thats fine, but you have no right criticizing me for posting that it WON'T happen. I have been around on here for quite sometime now, but never really had the time to share my views as much as I do now..

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Actually I do have a right to criticize your posts, especially when they are out of line. Duece was only relaying what he heard on KFAN, which I believe is a radio station in your area. So if you have an issues with the rumor take it up with them, don't shoot the messenger. It's not that difficult of a concept.

Just because your a Yankee fan, doesn't mean your the only person who knows anything about the Yankees or baseball for that matter, or that you have free reign to act like a jerk.

It's obvious this guy has "lordvader syndrome", so I'm just going to leave this one alone.

Ok, which part exactly would you say i was acting like a jerk... i mean if it came off like that, im sorry... yes i listen to mike and the mad dog, which is probrably the sorts radio show you're refering too, and yes I heard them talking about the Yankees possibly being interested in Tejada, but not as a replacement for Jeter, nor did they not mention anything about trading Bernie. That was my point. If this wasn't an april fools, my misjudgement, but i didn't insult or blast anyones post. I simply stated that if the yankees were going to make a trade, it would include mondesi before anyone one of their other outfielders, only because the reason Tejada isn't going to be in Oakland next year, is because they won't be able to afford him. no other reason, so why would they trade for an older, almost as expensive player. trust me, when the Yankees get Tejada, they will be moving henson in the deal because Tejada would become the new 3B for the Yanks.

You did insult me when I came to the Baseball forums to relay a rumor I heard and you tell me to grow up. I also never said anything about Jeter being replaced, I said that I HEARD that they would trade Bernie for Tejada. I could care less what they do or don't do. But, once again I was just letting you guys know what my father heard on WFAN yesterday.

He was just posting what his father heard on WFAN. And he made that abundantly clear in his original post. He wasn't starting a rumor, he was passing information that was on the radio. If you have in issue with the rumor take it up with the radio station. It's not that difficult to understand.
