Granted, but usually there's people saying "This kid has a chance to become a star" or "This guy will never be anything more than a minor leaguer"

I know it's not infallable, but it'd be a nice option to have. Like what WSB supposedly has with scouts (I say supposedly because I haven't played this year's version)

It does give some info when you recruit them, you have to read the scout card. It will say about their future: Starter, fringe, bench etc. Also give you their current ratings and possible future ratings.

Heelfan is right, when you scout them, it will tell you what their potential could be...but again, I can't stress enough, it's no guarantee!
I've heard a few posts on here, where people are complaining that they haven't gotten a great player out of the draft yet....join the club! My Rangers are still waiting to develope their own talent....sometimes it just doesn't happen.

I got a top 10 prospect my first year and a top 10 in my second draft. Hopefully they will pan out.

I drafted an infielder with a C+ rating. Two weeks later, my 3B Ginter had to go on the DL, so I called him up, since I had no one better in the minors. He has A ratings for all his defense and speed, he is fast. He did so well, when Ginter came back, I shifted him over to 2B, and it allowed me to trade Young for a pitching prospect from the Braves. The guy I drafted has been my leadoff hitter ever since and helped me get the Wild Card.
