Ya Sosa got a whole lot bigger real fast, but being a betting man I'm betting the farm of Bonds.

Sosa weighs 220 pounds, but I dont really think he's juiced. A guy coming over from the Dominican is gonna put on a lot of weight. As for his stats, if you look at them career wise, he's been healthier and he's learned how to hit. Earlier in his career, he rarely hit to the opposite field and now he does it regulary. He's actually become a really good hitter and I dont think steroids can help with that IMO.

I agree with BKrich. Taking steroids wouldn't really help a pitcher that much. It anything it may make them lose velocity. Pitchers want to be loose, flexible, and limber. If they are muscular their arm is tighter which in turn would slow down their arm motion. When I played baseball the pitchers would be on different weight lifting programs working more on legs and flexibility. Yeah a few pitchers may be pretty strong but that doesn't necessarily mean they are juiced. It wouldn't make much sense. Look at guys like Pedro, Randy Johnson, Zito, Hudson, Mulder, ect. I think Colon just may be naturally bigger. As for hitters there is almost no doubt in my mind that Sosa and Bonds are juiced or were. Just look at how much weight they have put on. Actually they both used to be skinny! They are good hitters don't get me wrong but their homerun totals are inflated. Homerunes dropped off a lot last year, I wonder why? Funny Bonds never hits 50 then hits 73. I think someone mentioned Alex Rodriguez too. I don't see him being juiced. He is just a great player that was gifted with incredible talent.

If the Padres were taking steroids, they sure as hell aint helping!

I would definately say Bonds, he came out of nowhere and hit 73 HR, and his home stadium is a definate pitchers park.

To say Bonds came out of nowhere is kind of a stretch don't you think? Sure, he had never even had a 50 homer season in his career, but you don't put up 450 bombs prior to 2001 without having a ton of pop in your bat.

If i had to bet, my life savings, on Sosa or Bonds, I'd choose Sosa.

Sosa had consecutive seasons of 32, 13, 15, 36, 22, 34, 18, 22, 18 Stolen Bases, with a % of almost 70%. So he attempted more than those #'s. But the next following years he hit 66, 63, 50, 64, and 49 HR. Prior to his seasons before of, 15, 10, 8 early on, then he was in the mid 30's.

Over the last 4 Seasons, Sosa has 16 SB, and 226 RBIs.

Call me crazy, that sounds like Steroids to me. Oh, and hes "listed" at 220lbs. Have u seen pictures of this guy? Hes a big fella. Also, his steals dropped when he was still in his prime, unlike Barry, who has stolen a few bases the last few years, 9, 13, 11, and 15, was old when his speed went away. But, if i could bet for both, I would.

Baseball is a joke. Them and the NBA need to take notes during the NFL season, on how to be a great sport.
