Does anyone feel that the CPU hits everything when their down around the 7

7th or 8th inning? I am up and I pitch like I normally do, and it seems that they hit everything I throw at them. Does the CPU Batting AI get an increased boost around the 7th, 8th, and 9th inning? Anyone else getting that feeling?

Yep. I was the Dodgers. They led the Giants 10-6 going into the 9th. Gagne comes in. I pitched around the corners, but they rocked him for 5 runs to win 11-10. The CPU hits very well in this game.

Yes i seen this happen also i never seen Rivera hit so hard

I actually think he's gotta point...I've wondered this too, after seeing relievers that were better than my starters get hit hard a lot of times- a little more than you would think. I'm not pitching any differently...actually it should be tougher to hit these guys...so something is a little off I think

It happaned to me twice against the cubs with the mets.

Leiter was getting tired in the 7th, I had a 2 hitter with him. I brought in another reliever, and he was rested up, just fine, and he couldnt pitch worth a crap. I got through that inning. Then I brought in Armando B. in the middle of the 8th, and I tryed closing them out, but they came out swinging.

I lost 5-1. I had a 0-1 lead going into the 9th.

We';ll see what goes on later though.
