it was safe to stop reading after the "pitches look the same" crap in the first paragraph. if you can't tell the difference between a curveball and a fastball in WSB, something is wrong with you.

whats the point of a post like this? are we all now supposed to feel compelled to return WSB for another and repent for the error of our ways?

No. The point is that people get to have opinions. It doesn't have to be a love-fest here.

I think WSB is the cream of the crop of this year's baseball's games. But just because someone disagrees doesn't make him a troll.

Fiedler, why do you hate WSB so much? And why the 5 topics and 50 posts about why WSB is weak, and why HH is better, and why is this guy still playing WSB? Why are you still playing WSB? And where is your baseball game? I haven't seen Fiedler Baseball 2k3, maybe I will give EB a ring! Ring............No, they don't have it or a release date for it! You should be happy we have all of these solid baseball titles and be playing man! I am not calling you out, you like HH better than WSB, that is fine, but don't break the nail with the hammer man!

How could your name be FWHITE and not get the crack reference?

This game is my favorite of all the titles released so far, xbox version though

I stopped buying sports titles for PS2 after last years madden. Might as well take advantage of the better graphics and harddrive.

very true...just seems to me if youve already made your point, and prefer another game, thats cool....but that other game has a forum too i believe...but hey, to each their own, im not trying to start trouble/name-call or what have you.....just reading about the game

Come on now, I have both games and to claim that WSB is graphically inferior to HH is ludicrous.

I won't even get into arguing about graphics vs. gameplay, but HH's graphics are inferior to ASB and WSB both.

One example immediately jumps to mind; Minute Maid Park has several flaws in HH;

1. No hill in center field - just a vacant space between the warning track and the wall.

2. ALL of the distance markers read 375 (left, center, right and the alleys)...hmmm don't think that is possible.

3. The scoreboards are practically non-functional.

DO any of these things detract from the gameplay or ruin the game??? Nope. HH2k4 is still a great game, but to say it's graphically better than WSB or ASB is completely inaccurate. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I fail to see how anyone can objectively compare the games and declare WSB to be a subpar game.

Some prefer HH, some ASB, and some WSB. All of the games have their merits, and all have their flaws.

The bottom line is that you can choose the game that suits you best. A flaw that greatly concerns you might not faze someone else.

You are HIGH WSB2k3 is the best baseball game out it must be the PS2 version because the xbox vesion plays and looks and sounds better then the ps2 version which the ps2 version is still the best b-ball game on ps2 anyways
