After my trades, my payroll stands at 262 BP. My projected income has gone from 296 to 339 and I have 17 in the bank right now - I am not worried about resigning my star players at this point in time. I am sure play-off revenues will increase too...

That makes sense considering that Oakland is one of those teams that is considered small market more because they don't want to spend the $ not because they don't necessarily have the $. I'm sure they can re-sign Tejada...they are just so confident in their scouting and prospects that they feel they don't need to.

I'm sure this is stating the obvious, but I'm sure that if you pay people according to their role, then you'll really have no problems keeping star players. I mean try to keep bench player salaries low, and keep potentials high. So that way when it IS time for a roll-over of players you won't be taking such a hit.

                  Update:
Re-sign when you can! Don't wait. He wanted 4 at 28 BP...now he wants 2 at 28 BP. 4 years would have been nice. The most I have been able to offer him is 3 at 30 BP.

                  DAMN IT!

                      Ok 4 @ 32 BP.

                      Question:

At the contracts and FA screen, at the top it says that you have X number of BP to make offers. Why doesn't that number change once you re-sign a player or sign a FA?

Does it change after the season is over??
