Dude, I care about all sports and all the cheating that goes on.

I love sports more than anything but I'm just the type of person that can't turn away to all the BS that goes on and enjoy them blindly.

then you should probably have a difficult time enjoying most pro sports

perhaps you would enjoy college and high school sports better?...but there is some of it there also, although obviously not nearly at the same level as the pros

There are times where I have a difficult time enjoying sports...no doubt about that.

someoen was right in the other thread...i think it was you

people are taking this "steroids" thing way out of proportion.

They were caught cheating, in a game where people cheat. big whoop.

The reason steroids are even an issue is because they are ILLEGAL.
and because these guys are basically criminals by taking illegal substances.

The people getting all mad about them cheating the game are going to far IMO.

I mean your man Kenny Rogers was cheating in the world series plain as day and there is no uproar over that.

so why all the sudden do you "now know what youd do" if you found out a childhood hero cheated?

If Aaron was on the juice then i'd curl up in the fetal position and cry. Everything I believe in would have to be questioned.

BTW as for Ruth if he was on something wouldn't it stand to reason that other guys would be on something too? Ruth LAPPED the competition for much of his career until MLB started juicing the balls a bit.

Well, there is the rumor that Ruth injected himself with testosterone extracted from sheep testicles. It's probably not true but the rumor is out there.

all im saying is cheating is cheating.

not trying to make anyone ebelive anything or feel a certain way.

When theres a game where people cheat to get an edge, i cannot be surprised to learn about whoever is doing the cheating and what they have done.

At the end of the day they are all cheaters.

But for the record id like to belive Mr Aaron didnt cheat. Seems to me he had a little bit more respect for the game, himself, his family, and what he meant to the bigger picture.

I agree. There are plenty of substances that give players an advantage that arent illegal or banned by MLB

baseball players are going to do anything to get an edge that they can get away with. If MLB didnt want someone using a substance, then they should have banned it and tested for it sooner
