PC Roster Update in a couple days

Hello all. My PC roster update is almost done. Although it cant be 100% perfect due to the created player 25 man limit, these rosters will be about 95% accurate. They will also be updated rosters based on my mod file so stealing will be a little easier and pitchers will last a little longer.

MVP has a catagory rating of 36-99. If you go outside these boundaries MVP fails to notice it. This is why my original stamina update for all starting pitchers of 90-99 is perfect. I didnt want to make ALL starters 99 because there would be no difference. It was also unessasary to make catchers with an arm of 8! All catchers have an arm strength and accuracy of between 41-50.

There are a couple of guys I could not make:

CLE - Jason Davis SP
NYM - Jae Weong Seo SP
SD - Clay Condrey SP

There may be more but that was it. I still might make them in favor of dumping guys that dont play everyday. Those guys start games and perhaps should be made.

Other than that I am on track for a modded roster release early this week. Stay tuned!!

Is there any way you can release it w/o the modified attributes for the players? To me, the game seems fine and I don't want to change how the existing players act. Did you make Kevin MIllar?

1. Well the good thing Ive noticed is that editing attributes had a very small effect on the game, if any. Catchers are still very difficult to throw on. Pithers still get yanked kind of early. So to answer you question no, there is unmodified roster file. I wanted my rosters to be unique. Im sure there will be plenty of roster updates with unmodified files soon enough from other people.

This is great news. Thanks for your hard work. I looked at some DAT files in EXCEL and thought to myself, whoa, this looks time consuming/frustrating and difficult. Again, thanks.

And you guys wonder why no one has spent their OWN TIME making roster updates..

I think one reason you might not get a lot of responses is that most people here are playing the console versions. Just a guess though.

I think one reason you might not get a lot of responses is that most people here are playing the console versions. Just a guess though.

I was going to reply, but realized that the suggestions I was going to make wouldn't be useful unless you were editing the default rosters.

Are you editing the rosters in the game? Or did you find a way to create players by editing the .dat files?

I also think guys are also just waiting. You know HH has all these updates all the time and MVP.....Well, I think everyone is waiting for yours and you will see some replies.

There also maybe some truth to the console thing, but I have a feeling if you get the "mods" started with MVP PC a lot of people will go out an get the PC game. I know a lot of gamers like to be able to update and you can't update the console version much.

I know that when you post it I will jump anyone who says "How come you didn't create so and so." Or the fact that you may not have gotten a stance absolutely 110 percent correct.

I looked at the mess that is the DAT file and I know you spend a lot of sleepless time on it.
