But since I used a word, once again, that doesn't define anything as an absolute, I am not sure why you would suggest that I did. Even funnier that you continually quote or even bold some of the things I am saying and still don't comprehend them correctly.

I will point out what I said just one more time. After this you will have to figure out where you went wrong all on your own. Ready?

If you look in the very first sentence of the post that YOU (Coug00) quoted, you will find a four letter word there that does not equate to an absolute. Do you know what it is? Still can't figure it out? Ok I will tell you. The word is "seem."

Now if you want to have a conversation with me about how your statistics and formulas are the absolute truth, eventhough it would be boring to me, it certainly would be better than you trying to spin everything I post to make me look bad. If you want to get technical with me on statistics, then I am going to get technical with you on reading comprehension. See how that goes? Two can play that game, but truly it is boring.

And no, Coug00, I don't have any statistical formulas to show you how each and every member of OS feels about the BIG DONKEY that you find so lovable. Does that make you feel better? Do you feel like you just got yourself a big, fat win? Have you ever seen a poll on this site that asks "Who thinks that Adam "the Donkey that sucks" Dunn is a good player? No, I haven't either.

If I felt it was worth my time, I would go back to the other 4-5 threads and count how many people have commented on the Donkey positive or negative. But here is the kicker...I just don't care enough to go back through all that over a player that sucks and one that I couldn't care less about. Like I said, it is a fruitless argument with you guys because you are always right, and you know this.

My post was made because peavy44 said that Dunn was the reason the Reds struggled the past few years and that it's no surprise his team is now 0-7.

So, I pointed out facts rather than hyperbole claiming he's the reason the Reds were terrible or the Nationals are terrible. I mean, let's ignore that the Nationals have been terrible for a few years now, I guess.

No one here tried to say that Dunn was amazing. We just tried to understand how someone can blame one player for a franchise's woes. It's (can I use the word again?) ludicrous.
        Hey REDSOXPRIDE,
I only brought up the Nats win total with Dunn because Ewing stated that losing Dunn would cost the Reds alot of wins this year. I never once said Dunn was the reason the Nats are winless.

Why must you mock me! I didn't realize I had your name wrong until I saw your reply. I was like, "Oh, it's jake not peavy!"

You brought up the record so I made that connection. If that wasn't your intention then I'll try my best to pull back that letter I sent you in the mail yesterday.

If you do make it back then you might as well call me A-Rod because I just failed in the clutch.

Does anyone remember when Dusty was with the Giants and a reporter asked him if a game 7 (or maybe it was some other number but it was an elimination game) was a must win and he scoffed at the idea of it being a must win even though his teams season was going to be over if he lost.?

Just for that I'm gonna make a Adan Dunn is God avatar to spite you and everyone else in the baseball forum that either isn't a member of the OSBRSA or named Ewing (who's almost done with his initiation. We just need him to either get banned for 30 days for sending threatening PMs highlighting advanced statistics and circling letters that spell out a death threat once unscrambled or being put on ignore by every Phillies fan on this board).
