    The most special thing about Williams hitting 400 was that he was at 401 going into the final day of the season, and the bosox had a double header to play. the manager suggested to williams that he sit out to keep the 400 intact. Williams said, "Hell no!" and went out and got like 7 hits that day . I believe that's why they call him Teddy Ballgame.
