Re: Anyone else addicted to the MLB network?
I totally agree with this. I couldn't stand wading through all the talking head shows and their constant pimping of the NFL just to get to Baseball Tonight last year.
The MLB Network gives me my fix as soon as I turn it on. I really like their crew there. I enjoy listening to Reynolds again and I think Al Leiter found his calling. It's great to hear baseball people talk about baseball and not who can yell louder on the soap box.
Now if they can steal Gammons away.Comment

Re: Anyone else addicted to the MLB network?
I noticed they use the term "this guy" a whole lot.
Have a shot of your favorite poison any time a host uses this term, and I can guarantee that you won't make it passed 10 minutes.
Oh, and if it's a rookie they say "this kid", that's half a shot.Comment

Re: Anyone else addicted to the MLB network?
I for one was not impressed with the MLB network. The first 2 weeks was mainly all about one or two teams, large market teams.
As for adding someone like Gammons, don't the Red Sox already have a towel waver on that network. Hazel.
I have the directv package for the games so I don't need mlb network. Most of the time at least when I have tuned in, its the same old programing over and over, IMO.Comment

Re: Anyone else addicted to the MLB network?
I am I love how they cut into games like NHL Network. Maybe NFL should get the idea as well. I understand they have contractual issues with FOX and CBS but they should work something out with them because watching a screen with stats on Sunday isnt all the fun. But anyways yes I love MLB Network.Texas A&M Aggies
