I had a six game win streak and the Rollins broke it yesterday going 0-4 with a walk. Of couse, he would he a leadoff HR today.

Jeter got my streak going again today though.

Well Derek Jeter ran my streak to 8 today and makes me a perfect 8/8 so far this season. Unfortunately I didnt join the OS group until I had already done it a little so I think Ive only got a streak in the group of 2 but its 8 overall now.

LOL, wasnt trying to brag or anything. Here are my next few picks if you want to compare and contrast between yours and mine.

4/14- Miguel Cabrera (8/26 lifetime vs. Kyle Davies)
4/15- Prince Fielder (12/33 lifetime vs. Carlos Zambrano)
4/16- Hanley Ramirez (16/46 lifetime vs. Jamie Moyer)
4/17- Joe Mauer (7/20 lifetime vs. Gil Meche)

After that Im not sure, and some of these might change as some teams show a TBD as their SP so Im waiting to see who some teams are going to slot in as their starters on those days.

                Re: MLB.com Beat the Streak

Anyone still doing this? If your here p_rushing, it looks like its going to come down to extra innings as we both have Derrek Lee today and hes 0/4 so far but if anybody gets on in the 10th then he will bat so hopefully we get some luck here at the end of the game.

EDIT- Unfortunately Lee is 0/6 with a strikeout on his career for Matt Lindstrom so its not looking good.

My overall streak right now is 12 but Lee is up and unless he gets a hit here then its over and Im back to the beginning again. In the OS league I think my streak is only 6 since I joined the group after I had already started doing this.

Yeah, Im right below him as mikekitchen but Lee just struck out so him and I are back down to 0 now. Derrek Lee is now 0/7 with 2 strikeouts against Matt Lindstrom, ohh well, hopefully I can get another one started tomorrow with Carl Crawford.

Yeah I wasnt extremely high on Lee as I hate picking players when they are facing good pitchers and even though Wandy was struggling heading into the game you have to assume he was bound to turn it around eventually. Having said that I ended up going with Carl Crawford today against John Lackey which worked out but I only really went with Crawford because there really wasnt any other matchups that looked good on paper.

I'm attempting the minor league version. Since I work with the Cubs AA team, I stand a good chance.
