Re: Your All-Time MLB Team
in my opinion a-rod, griffey, edgar martinez, ichiro, randy johnson, are all among the best ever... if you take everyone i listed in their prime we would win plenty games... not one player i listed is a non-allstar in their prime....Comment

Re: Your All-Time MLB Team
I'll post mine later. I'm stunned at people picking Piazza for catcher and anyone that doesn't have Ruth on their team really should offer some reasoning. And I don't mean guys who said they're doing people they've only seen play; I get that. I mean the people who assembled a team of who they considered the greatest of all-time and left off Babe Ruth. How in the world did you make that decision?Last edited by Ewing; 04-15-2009, 11:08 PM.Comment

I was the first to put Ted Williams in, how can you leave him out?
You can't go wrong w/ circa 2000 Frank Thomas. His season at the plate was nothing short of amazing. I've got Aaron already in the OF, and Rickey Henderson there for speed at the top of the order. Eddie Murray is at first since he's the best switch hitter ever to play the game, and Frank Thomas at DH - can't go wrong w/ that.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Personally I have no problem with the Piazza pick myself though I picked Bench.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
