If I'm driving, I refuse to tune into Yankees on the radio because of Suzyn Waldman. SHE'S GOTTA GO!

She looks half drunk in that pic.

As for the Yankee announcers i've grown to appreciate John Sterling. You strip him of his catchphrases and such and he's actually a damn good announcer...Kay on the other hand is just a smug prick.

The Nats' Bob Carpenter is pretty bad. I swear, he LOVES saying, "jam job!" I think he gets some pleasure out of it, or something.

Our old color commentator, Don Sutton, wasn't terrible, but he obviously wanted to be with the Braves. I'm sure he's great for the Braves radio now. Our new color guy, Ron Dibble, is fine, he's a HUGE homer and doesn't even bother hiding it. I don't really mind, I find it hilarious actually.

Harrelson is bad but he is a lot more tolerable with Steve Stone as the color man now over Darren Jackson (who also sucked).

I used to think that Steve Physioc and Rex Hudler were bad but Rory Markas and Mark Gubicza have them beat for the Angels.

He has an annoying "announcer voice" at times but then when exciting plays happen his voice rises and he sounds like a kid! Every big defensive play he says "oh gosh that's gold glove material right there". He also does the schtick where he wishes some octogenerian happy birthday but it comes off as cheesy when he does it compared to other announcers i've heard. The guy is just BRUTAL!

I wish Jerry Howarth would do TV

My vote is for Jamie as well. The mistakes I hear him make on nightly basis drives me up the wall, I wish the radio feed wasn't off by a few seconds or I would listen to that with the TV on mute.

Last night.."Welcome to Rogers Centre....uh I mean the Metrodome" fool.

Yeah, he sucks. He drones on about the nuances of hitting that he thinks are important. The guy is a .239 hitter and talks about hitting like he's Ted Williams. And not only that he's totally drab in doing it. And then, in contrast to that, you have Bob Uecker who is very entertaining and was a .200 lifetime hitter.

It use to be Joe Nuxall! I know 99.9% of people worshipped him before he pasted away but he was just horrible on the radio. First of all, I don't mind George Grande. He's not all that bad. To each their own. Secondly, nice job blasting a beloved Cincinnatian in Joe Nuxhall. He was part of the Reds family for decades and deserves a little respect. The guy is dead for cryin' out loud! If you don't like the Reds announcers, turn the damn sound down when you're watching or listening to games.

He said he does do this. And its not like it was buried at the bottom. He said as much in his second sentence. WTH.

Relax. Basically sounded to me he didn't like any Reds announcers. Does he specifically say that? No, he doesn't. I should have been clear and said turn the sound down on the tv or don't listen to the radio if you don't like the announcers.

You can use the included Home Theater Cable to connect the SportSync to the Auxiliary input of your stereo system so you can watch the game on your big-screen TV while listening to the delayed and in-sync radio audio through your home theater speakers.

I remember being back in Boston several years ago visiting my grandmothers before they passed away and Dennis Eckersley was subbing for Jerry Remmy, Eckersley made Remmy sound like Vin Scully he was so bad. Everytime Eck would descibe a pitch he would say something to the effect of " that pitch had some hair on it" "that ball had hair", everything apparently had hair on it. It was horrible.

I have to agree. Granted I have not listened to some of the people being mentioned but Harrelson is brutal. And it's not just the lack of enthusiasm for any thing not on behalf of the White Sox. I actually heard him start yelling "grab some wood there buddy you aren't catching up to that heat!!!" after the opposing player struck out.

                            That's just ridiculous.

I totally disagree. Joe had character. You knew when Joe would take over the radio, and when he was calling a game just by the mannerisms in his delivery. Sure as he got older he would miss a name here or there, or allow for a little more dead air than say Marty did, but it was freakin' Joe!

He was the Cincinnati Kid. An Icon that will remain in many Reds Fan's hearts for years to come.
