I just took the first 3 of a 4-game series off of them last night in World Series Baseball.... In their own park!

I know it's very frustrating to watch. The offense is not clicking yet, but there's every reason to believe it will. The starting pitching has been the other ,and perhaps bigger, problem. The bullpen has been superb. I heard that Billy Wagner won't be back next season and they are grooming Lidge as the future closer.

The Astros have historically started slowly, and hopefully they'll heat up soon especially once Berkman, Oswalt, and Miller get rolling.

Lets see, none of our guys can hit, 4 of the 5 starters cant pitch right now (only Redding is doing ok), and basically the team is showing no emotion so basically thats why we are sucking. The team is just dead right now, nobody is doing anything.

The Astros always seem to start slow. At the end of the year it will probably be them and St. Louis battling for the division though. Their starting pitching is whats killing them. Once Miller gets going and they get some solid starts out of the other pitchers they will be fine. Their offense will start scoring enough runs. Some other problems they have had is moving Biggio to center and Berkman being hurt.
