Bonds, career wise has always been a top notch player. He may be a jerk, but has always been a top guy. Is he juicing, my personal knowledge on steriods would lead me to believe that he is, along with a few other high profile players.

But, he was great b4 he started juicing (lets say 2000) for over 10yrs, thats quite an accomplishment for an athlete.

Look at his numbers, they have gotten better EVERY year. not just the year he hit 73 hr's. I don't think Barry would say he got good QUICK! That's an insult to his talent.

As far as the steroids go.
I am 6-2 (approx. the same heighth as Bonds). When I was in my early 20's I only weighed in the 180 lbs range. I am 30 now and weigh 225 (approx the same weight as Bonds). I used to lift quite a bit, but not that often now, I have NEVER used steroids, If I can gain that weight without 'roids why can't Bonds ( a professional athelete)? Another thing, if you look at pics year by year you can see the increase in size was gradual. Unlike Canseco, he was a hulk in '88 compared to '87.
It's called age, ever heard of 'old man strength'? If you think Bonds is juicing due to his size increase, just wait 'til you grow up yourself and you'll understand.

Nope, it was Bonds... And that's my point. He's been great for a long long time, and that's why he was the highest paid player in the MLB when the Giants signed him in '93. How quickly people forget.

As for the steroids issue, give it a rest guys. Most of you are way under 30, I'm sure, so you don't know what it's like to get older. I have always been a skinny guy, being about 6'1" 150 lbs. until I was about 29. Then I gained about 30 lbs. just from getting older. It can't be helped. Bonds is getting older and expanding just like the rest of us. Plus, his workout ethic is impeccable, so I'm sure he's been putting on muscle mass easier since he's gotten older too. I know I can put on muscle easier than I could 10 years ago (I'm 35). There was never a rapid weight gain with him, either. It's been gradual. Plus he never did bulk up like the admitted roid guys like Canseco and Caminiti, and he hasn't shown the roid rage symptoms either.

If you still believe he's on roids, there's nothing that anyone can say that can change your mind then. And if you don't think he is, fine. Can we move on to another subject now? I didn't hear this many accusations about McGwire when he broke the record. Is it because people like him better than Bonds?

True there is no proof, it just very likly that Bonds is a roider along with Sosa, Giambi, McGwire, Boone, and many others with huge heads filled with water.

There is a differce when getting older and gaining weight (fat) and gaining massive lean muscles and a huge head, and thats some roids.
