I don't have my game in front of me, but if I remember correctly here is how to make a snap throw from C to any base. After the ball is released from the pitchers hand press the LEFT trigger and whatever base you want to throw to, and hold it. I don't release either button until the catcher makes the throw. I have picked off 2 runners this way.
