104 mph by Zumaya? I wonder if it's truly 104 or if it's dialed up a little. I know he can throw hard, but that is just...wow

Jays were kinda lucky to win against the Reds last night. They built themselves a nice little lead then the 'pen nearly coughed the whole thing up. Nice to see Rolen hit a HR and he's gotta be the guy with the least pop at cleanup in all of MLB right now but he's getting the job done with some gap to gap power.

            "sigh"

and the Blue Jays were THIS close to getting him a couple offseasons ago for Alex Rios and some spare parts.

You know what is funny when I heard that they said it was Cain. I said no way give them Timmy. He is too small to last in the MLB. Cain is a beast! Wow was a wrong! Can you imagine him and your boy! OUCH! Then I find it was never Cain it was Timmy. I was like OK I would do that. Then he goes out and win the CY. Yep I was wrong big time! I love this kid!

                Yep, he is solid.

I hate how everyone always says how poor the NL West is, but the pitching in the NL West is just ridiculous.

                SF- Timmy and Cain

                LAD- Billingsley and Kershaw

                ARI- Webb and Haren

                SD- Peavy

                COL- Cook

Plus, they always say how the division is weak but if the playoffs started today, 2 teams would make it out of the West.

OK, sorry I have to do this, but here we go the West is weak. Those Pitchers pat their numbers becasue of the line ups they go against. Maybe for except the Dodgers and now the Rockies line ups. The rest are pretty sad. But I am not saying they aren't good pitchers, but the West does help big time. Make no mistake about that.

Not 104, but pretty close (at least according to Pitchf/x)

Mariners....5.00 ERA 10-14 record with Johjima catching...2.61 era with Rob Johnson catching, and a winning record. (Can't remember exactly what). When you can't hit, and can't field...you should be done. Unless you're a Japanese catcher on a team with a Japanese owner.

                      Fire Johjima

whoa whoa whoa speedy...Just remember, we beat you last year in the NLCS, only differences this year is your #2(Lowe) and our #2(Myers) are both gone and while you added a 2B, we added the 1st half NL MVP .

Uh yea...as Scottdau pointed out San Fran and SD rank last in the NL in offense, which OPS wise makes them both the worst offenses in baseball, which in turn "pads" their pitching stats.

Plus...add the NL West pitcher friendly parks w/ the NL East hitter friendly parks and there's that wrinkle too.

Right now, I would take LA's pitching over Philly's pitching. And Manny > Ibanez.

Season series is 4-3 bud. It takes you 7 seven games to beat us. When in the postseason we handled you in 5.

Thank you for referring to as the All-Mighty Phillies. Till you become NCLS champs that's how you should refer to us.
