Remember this name Pablo Sandoval! He is going to be a BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is BS he is not going to St Louis! But oh well.
Since June 12th he has hit 12 HR. Since June 12th A.P. has hit 15 HR. He is up there with the big boys. And he is only 22. I love this kid!Last edited by Scottdau; 07-11-2009, 09:12 PM.Comment

Meche was hurting prior to his last start against the Twins, they didn't even know if he was going to be able to pitch. Not only did they let him pitch, but they allowed him to get shelled AND throw 130 pitches to boot.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

You never know, but he runs very well that size. He is fat, but he is also stalky. I think he will be OK.Comment

Re: 7/6 - 7/12 MLB Discussion
Another great pitching performance wasted by the Padres.
Bud Black needs to stop platooning Venable and Blanks. One of the two players needs to be sent down to AAA to get regular at-bats. Venable already said in an interview that since he was called up and promptly benched, he lost the timing on his swing and the same probably could be said with Kyle Blanks. The Padres really don't know how to transition their prospects to the majors. On a positive note, Tim Stauffer actually pitched like a former-first rounder.
Oh yeah, and the Padres should soon be competing with the Natinals for the worst record pretty soon.Comment

I feel bad for Ricky Romero. He pitched a whale of a game and the Jays' crummy bats can't get the win.
