I'm surprised that it took this long for the Padres to get no-hit. Heck, the way this series is going, there could be another one.

        Blzer, I was there too!!

30 rows up from the Giants dugout. Such an amazing game. I lost my voice screaming at the end. I still cant sleep cuz of the game and the fact it was SO close to a perfecto.

...and I have the hardcopy tickets! Ebay here I come (lol, yeah like they will be worth anything)

About a week ago there was a rumor that the Giants were going to offer Sanchez for Aubrey Huff. I kinda want to do that now.

That's awesome blzer that you got to be there for that.

My crowning moment was seeing Bonds hit #713 at CBP.

Congrats to Sanchez! He's always had this type of stuff, but has just needed the control/command of it. He was a very good pitcher in the 1st half of last year, and I think he's starting to hone it in.

I'll temper by expectations some because it was the Padres.

This is the same for me, man. I was rustling in my bed tonight saying "If only Uribe made that play!" Man, you don't know how disappointed I am that it couldn't be what it should have been. If it were a perfect game, I would have been crying, tackling my dad, and hugging him thanking him for this opportunity. It would have been the golden experience of my life (though this is still close to it). But there's just something about a perfect game that is so much greater, even if he earned it in this game.

Lucky man being so close. The bleachers had plenty of great fans as well, except for the ones in front of me.

And thanks everyone else. Yes, this game was fantastic to watch.

the funny thing is that pablo sandoval was taken out defensively soon before that error by uribe was made. i guess its hard to say, "well this guy would have made the play, this guy wouldnt have" but i think it may have been different with pablo in there. either way you cant take away from what sanchez did. a no hitter is still a career highlight, and the first giant in 33 years to do it! im not gonna knitpick over it not being perfect

Great comeback game by Sanchez. We've known that he's always had good stuff, but he sometimes gets easily "nervous" after a basehit or walk and can't find his command. WOW too bad I couldn't watch the game as I was working!

Pablo was replaced because his back was hurting. You usually don't touch anything with a no-no going.

Congratulations to Sanchez on a great pitching performance.

the Padres lineup last night. It shouldn't even count as a no-hitter. There is one MLB hitter in that whole lineup and the rest would be lucky to be bench players on certain good teams.

That one "MLB hitter" has been stinking it up for the past month, walks not included.

lester no-hit the royals last year, was that a no hitter?
