      Interestingly, the Nats beat the Royals 2 games to 1 in their only meeting back in 2004.

        The two teams played in 2002 as well, and KC lost all 3.

          Technically they were the Expos then which is why i didn't mention it. However, if you like to count it that makes MTL/WAS 5-1 against KC.

            They were still the Expos in 2004. They didn't move to Washington until 2005.

              You're right. It was late and i was going by ESPN.com's Royals schedule for 2004 and it has them listed as Washington, not Montreal. They did the same on their 2002 schedule.

              So technically speaking the Royals and Nationals have never played eachother.
