Looks like Rodney may blow his first save. That is what happens when you only score 2 runs off a terrible pitching staff.

After Rick Porcello pitching so well and Sowers pitching so lolish, this would really be quite hilarious if the Indians beat them in Extras again.

We HAVE to sign him back next year. Which I think he will. He loves it in St.Lou

Better start woo-ing Boras then. This amazing start that Holliday is having = Boras adding more digits to the contract.

I'm just going to say this because I don't get to watch him too often:

Tim Lincecum is perhaps the most talented, smartest pitcher I've ever seen.

Pretty much. The scary thing is he wasn't even on tonight. When he is truely on then that is another W. I love that guy. He should get his second CY this year again.

                        I heart Aaron Hill

25 HRs and 74 RBI so far.

                        that is all

                          Clayton Richard pitched well today.

It's safe to say I won't miss Josh GeeHR in the rotation.

The next hitter grounded into a 3-6-3 double play, erasing Parra at the plate. Green then uncorked a wild pitch allowing Upton to score, a man he had put on base, and thus he took the loss.
I understand that...but they charged the run to Feliciano and gave the loss to Green...I have never seen that before. Oh well, not really that big of a deal.

They're in contention for the same reason the White Sox and Twins are, they collectively suck and play in a pathetic division.
