    HOLY COW!

    Triple digits in Washington state?!
For Western Washington that's HOT! Especially since most people don't have A/C there. But, I live in Eastern Washington and thanks to the Cascade mountains its a desert here. We get 7" of rain a year and its regularly above 100 in July & August. Got to 112 here last July. Evergreen state my ***! Half green and half brown more like it.

Doc did look a little bothered by the heat and he was missing his spots much more than normal. I was fully expecting the M's to get their usually mow down by him today, so I'll take it. The M's were smart to put an Aussie on the mound in that heat. He looked great.

So far so good out of Latos. Hopefully I won't be jinxing him.

Also, it seems like Kyle Blanks is coming around at the plate. It only took playing him everyday.

Feldman is getting shelled early. So much for the sweep.

That homerun by him was absolutely crushed! Harang kept missing up and Gonzo and Blanks really made him pay.

I'm getting tired of Bruney's shenanigans!

                      19 innings, 13 ER = FAIL

                        Me too.

Hopefully he moves down in the pecking order after this one. I'd rather see Robertson and Melancon get more regular work than keep trying to fix Bruney. He's had his chance and while he's had his moments in the past, it's not like he has a huge track record

The Royals are now 10-11 when Zack Greinke starts. The Royals didn't win any of his five starts in July, and have only won two of his last eleven starts going back to May 26th.
