I use a 33 1/2 inch 28 1/2 oz. bat. when I pick up a 30 oz. bat, it feels heavy. A corked bat is allot lighter than a normal bat. you would be able to tell right when you picked it up.

Yeah, but that's 5 oz. or 1/3 of a lb... that's a fairly big difference.. I use a 34 oz bat, and most of the guys on my team use 33's... you really can't tell just my holding them, you gotta read the knob or barrel sometimes.

I played HS baseball last year and if you handed me a 27 and 28 ounce bat I couldn't tell the difference. Most people know b/c of memory, what each bat looks like... but we had 2 bats same color and brand but 1 oz. seperate. EVERYONE had to look and make sure they grabbed the correct bat.

And now that you think about it, those 500+ feet bombs he jacked in the HR derby he used a illegal bat. I wonder if any other players would admit to using a corked bat at the HR derby.

Thats true, well if thats the case, he would have spotted the "C" on his bat.
I know, I know, he has over 50 bats but only 1 is corked. Well if he knows when to grab the right one in BP, then he should know when to grab the right one in a real game.

Don't get me wrong, I still think he's full of it, but I also don't think he used this bat all that often.

I suppose Bonds isn't on steroids too right?

Ask anybody that know about bodybuilding and weight traning, for Bonds to put on the weight that he did, at the age he did, in the short time that he did, is almost impossible.

Bonds is as much of a scumbag as Sammy if he corked his bat. And McGwire, I bet he never used anthing to enhance his performance either.

Let's look at the real problem in baseball, poor pitching and too many teams. When we get rid of a few teams and get solid pitching through the league, HRs will go down.
"Well the NBA is in great hands but if I had to pick the single greatest player on the planet, I take Kobe Bryant without hesitation." - Michael Jordan, 2006
