Re: The baseball record book is now a joke

Baseball is sort of like Field of Dreams for me. It takes me away from the everyday rat race. I watch ball to relax. I played ball for years for the love of it. I keep track of trades on my DangerZ editor during the off-season because of my love for the game. I buy baseball books and magazines. It's an addictive hobby for me. Something I can sit around for hours with my best friend and chat.

Erod is right about the players union.

Sammy lied. That's my opinion on it, won't change it.

I love my game a little less when I see some of the stuff I see happening to it.

We're talking about ethics here. And, for many ethics is something you don't just leave at home with you. We fans that like to watch and follow baseball (as an example of a sport) are wanting to watch the best in the world play. When the players, owners, managers and commissioner cheat and mutilate the system, it becomes an issue of whether what we're watching is ethical or not. I don't pay to see liars.
