Now? It looked lopsided the day it was made.

Another reason to rejoice now that Bavasi is done in Seattle. I hope Baltimore can enjoy Mr. Jones for many years to come.

No joke. For my own personal mental anguish I sifted through the original Bedard trade thread. I didn't find one happy M's fan before or after the trade.

What I find hilarious is that JJLinn wasn't happy with the haul of Jones, Sherrill, Tillman, Butler and Mikolio. He wanted more. LOL!

I don't ever wish a player to get hurt (hell I've got him on two fantasy teams) but it's nice to finally see the O's on the other side of the dark cloud for a change. This guy is one of the biggest DBs this organization ever had and it was really a bonus just to get him out of town with something serviceable in return. The way the players we got have turned out have been a healthy side of icing on the cake, and his inability to stay healthy is a big fat cherry on top.

I feel for you M's fans though. I've always liked the M's back to the Griffey/Big Unit/ARod days. Makes it kind of bittersweet but I really do hope he just fades into the sunset.

From a pure trade standpoint, Baltimore wins hands down. But the Bedard trade was the straw that broke the camel's back and freed us M's fans of Bavasi and brought in Zduriencik. I'd trade Jones, Sherrill, and Tillman for Zduriencik and his FO every single time. In an odd way, I think the trade will work out for both teams in the long run.

What's so strange about Bedard is his attitude. He has been a different guy this year. He's still shy with the press and fans, but he's a goofball in the dugout/clubhouse and you can tell he's liked by his teammates. I can't imagine him getting anything other than 1 year, $4-6 million contract from somebody next year. Why would anyone invest more than a year in a guy who cannot go an entire season without breaking? I'm betting he goes home to Toronto for a 1 year deal on the cheap.

He's an awesome talent, but he's made of porcelain.

Does he still tell people how he doesn't like Baseball and wishes he was a hockey player?

Hahaha, hadn't heard that. The extent of what he tells the Seattle press is "Yes", "No", and "I don't know". He really is baseball's worst interview.

I wanted Carlos Triunfel big time, I was baffled with the addition of two relievers, but holy crap I feel bad for you guys. Since the Flat Breezy trade, the whole deal is:

                      Chris Tillman
                      Adam Jones
                      Josh Bell
                      Steve Johnson
                      Tony Butler
                      Kam Mickolio

Tillman's been shaky in his first few ML starts, but he his curve and change are NASTY. Once he gets more experience, he's going to beast.

He just needs to get the ball down more consistently. He hangs way too many fastballs and curves up in the zone. He didn't give up many hrs in the minors so I think it'll straighten itself out but only time will tell.

I think he needs to develop a 2-seamer or cutter, because his 4-seamer barely has any movement.
