    Yanks are in trouble.

Soriano is on pace to K 100 more times than he walks.
    Giambi is flat out sucking.
    Jeter's BA has droped 33 points in 4 games with 9 K's.

They are going to have 100+Ks at every position.
and the biggest stat... The Yanks have not won a game this year whe they were trailing after 7 innings

At the end of the year, they'll be there. They can't play any worse than they have already. Giambi, Jeter, et al aren't going to play like this the entire season. And Giambi has been on fire lately, except for last night of course.

And of course, the Braves (assuming you're a Braves fan) will choke in the playoffs like they do every year.

          Jeter's numbers haven't looked up since '99.

They'll trade for what they need. Salaries are no option.

Look for them to dump Jeff Weaver to Texas soon for Urbina.

I think many people don't take into account that Houston has one of the best bullpens ever. They have to have a good one when they come in and shut down the Yanks for 8 straight innings. Just if they had a solid pitching staff. Seems like the Yankees didn't learn the Mike Hampton cold. Sgn someone to a big *** contract like they did Hampton and they get nothing for it. Basically like what they did to Matsui.

I don't think Weaver's going for Urbina. Texas supposedly is more interested in dumping salary and will accept lesser prospects for Urbina.
