HOW can Juan Rivera still be playing everyday over Trammell and Sierra?!?!?

This has just been baffling me lately and its pissing me off even more now that Sierra has hit yet another homerun today against St. Louis. I could understand if Rivera was a good fielder because Trammell and Sierra are both below average fielders but Rivera is plain awful. He can't judge a ball off the bat til its practically over his head, he can't play a ricochette off the wall to save his life and has dropped some pretty easy balls. Trammell isn't having a good year (basically the same avg as Rivera) but he's had success in the past and is a solid fielder. Torre needs to send Rivera's a$$ back to Columbus and start using Ruben and Bubba ALOT more.

Except to see Sierra, wheter it be in the outfield or DH, every day now with his hot hitting for the Yankees.

he's better defensively than both, now you might say then sub him in the late innings but he's a young player and there will be no use for him if you don't play him but i hear ya. too many double plays

Who the hell cares? Nobody is complaining and so far we're winning lately. Might be because they're trying to raise his stock and get him used to Major Leagues, but the point is we're winning.

the kid is solid. Remember how Nick Johnson started off last year and now we miss him dearly.
