Edited player atrributes in WSB to match this year.....

Perhaps more important than creating players in WSB is editing players from their default ratings. This season, as most, is filled with tons of surprise players having break out (or simply contract) seasons that are much better than originally slated in WSB. Here are some of my edits, and of course I tried to make them as realistic and accurate as possible.


- Rocco Baldelli (TB) up to an 88 ovr
- Carlos Delgado (TOR) up to a 100 ovr
- Vernon Wells (TOR) up to an 87 ovr
- Alfonso Soriano (NYY) up to a 100 ovr
- Nick Johnson (NYY) up to a 76 ovr
- Bill Mueller (BOS) up to an 88 ovr
- Melvin Mora (BAL) up to an 84 ovr
- Hank Blalock (TEX) up to an 87 ovr
- Carl Everett (TEX) up to a 91 ovr
- Javy Lopez (ATL) up to a 74 ovr
- Albert Pujols (STL) even MORE of a 100 ovr (higher AVG)
- Edgar Renteria (STL) up to a 89 ovr


Those are pretty much the big ones, there are plenty of smaller adjustments and alot of lowering attributes (ahem Jose Contreras and Miguel Tejada). Add on any other changes you made.

thanks but no thanks...i find changing ratings is giving an unfair advantage...unless you are changing a ptichers stamina...

Amen to that! The ratings are assigned pretty fairly "as is". I have two philosophies for not editing ratings:

(a) it would be tempting to edit players that don't need to be edited, and eventually would result in overkill; and

(b) it's more work than the consumer bargained for. We pay a pretty penny for a game that only costs the publishing house pennies to make. I'm buying a product that I EXPECT to be complete and realistic. I'm not a guinea pig nor willingly a beta product tester.

how do I make World Series baseball 2k3 harder? I have it on legend mode and i am using harder versions of XCell's sliders and it's still too easy. I am using the Yankees and I am 14-2. What can I do? I have CPU hitting at 50. Should I increase it? I already have very fast pitching, very small cursor, CPU pitching ability at 100. Any advice?
