I'm really beginning to hate him even though he was so great for us last year.

    Why?

Because he's one guy potentially holding one of the Phillies greatest corps of players from greatness.

But then Ryan Madson is not consistent in the close role either, and then what options are there...that are healthy...Chad Durbin? He walks too many batters. Scott Eyre?

I'm hoping Romero can get back, and please Please PLEASE Myers...we need him back so bad too.

It's going to be real interesting come postseason.

Hamels I'm not worried about though, just the bullpen.

The Twins have currently scored 6 runs on 2 hits, and neither of those hits accounted for more than one RBI. The Royals have committed one error and have issued an astounding eight walks through just about five innings. They also allowed a guy to score from second on a wild pitch.

Maybe that imbecile Hillman will find a way to blame Butler in the media again, nevermind that he's one of the handful of guys on the rosters that aren't utterly inept.

Probably. I think Moore and Hillman sit around and decide how to blame things on Billy.

Maybe this week he'll be overweight and out of shape. Sounds like a perfectly viable reason why the pitchers can't throw strikes, right?

The AL Central race is coming down to the wire. The Tigers got shut out last night 2-0 with the White Sox getting only two hits during the entire ballgame. Jake Peavy was downright nasty after surviving the shaky start he had during his first three innings. The Tigers just couldn't get the big hit to score anyone at that time.

I was at the Rangers game tonight and they had 11 runs in the 5th inning all with 2 outs. It was insane.

God I love Ozzie. I hope he is the next Indians manager just so he can tell the players what they need to hear. Maybe hire him for one day, tell him to tell the players they have no heart and fire Ozzie the day after.

Heh, Ozzie's latest rant was definitely warranted. It looked like many of the White Sox players went through the motions after the Tigers rallied from the early 5-0 deficit last night. But I'll take wins any way they come.

As miserable as this season has been for the Jays (besides Aaron Hill's emergence as a superstar) it was nice to see 39K come out to the dome for the final home game of the year. It was also great that the Jays got the victory as well.

I tried to get them to lose to the Tigers (Except for the game Greinke pitched, nobody is allowed to win those) but they just didn't want to.
