Yeah, but that guy (Shaver) always goes first round. He's just at the top of eveyone's list.

I'd take the manager, because that directly affects your team... you wanna win WHILE picking up good prospects, you don't wanna rebuild and lose all the time while rebuilding if you don't have to.... you picking up what I'm putting down?

My first franchise I started I put minimal thought into my coaches and just couldn't compete... in order to compete, I'd have to try to assemble an all-star team..

THIS time, I got good coaches and I got prospects playing and have by FAR earned their spots.. HOWEVEr my pitching is sucking coming outo f the pen so my pitching coach has his *** on the burner right now.

scouts are important. my first lower rated scout found guys and i signed them all. nobody else apparently wanted them. my newest scout finds players other teams want. i can't sign them as easy.
even though a 20 year old 3rd baseman he found was rated in the low 60's, i needed to call him up on ly a few weeks later because of injuries, he batted 355.
