Porcello and Blackburn are locked up in a pitchers duel. The game is tied at 1 in the top of the 5th inning after Span drove in Tolbert with a sacrifice fly.

I wish I had realized earlier the game was on MLBN. Just realized that about 15 minutes ago.

Whew! That was a big strikeout of Orlando Cabrera to end the inning. The Tigers can't afford to have a situation with Mauer batting with the bases loaded.

So far our bats have been extremely harmless. Also, we just took out our 2nd/3rd best hitter in Kubel. If we win this game with only Span/Mauer as real MLB hitters it will be a miracle.

Is it just me or has the home plate umpire been inconsistent at best today?

An Alexi Casilla sighting? Now it's time for the cutesy small ball the Twins love. If I wasn't already sick...

                  Good ****ing god...

Why? Oh that's right, it's Nick Punto.

Wow... that was a tremendous break for the Tigers with the popped out bunt attempt for double play.

Well to be fair to Punto, that pitch was thrown very high and would've been awfully tough to get the baseball down on the ground.

Yeah I agree, but it was a terrible play to put on. If you have anyone worth anything though, you don't have to attempt it.

Something tells me that Inge is going to win it here. I can't stand him!

                          Edit: Phew!

Dammit. If Kubel was still out in right field that ball hit by Santiago would've fallen in.

Ugh. Wild pitch. Can we please not have any more of those?

That's a good point that I didn't think of. I guess, on the flip side you now get the automatic out that is Carlos Gomez!
