                    Gardenhire subs in Carlos Gomez for Kubel. So Carlos Gomez is now the cleanup hitter for the Twins.

                        You got that right. There's absolutely no reason not to start Gomez in the outfield right from the start so that Kubel can be at DH where he belongs.
