I don't watch much baseball and don't really follow it but based on those stats... I would have to say Dontrelle Willis looks best IMO.

      How is that disappointing?

      .370 OBP
      .829 OPS

If you expected him to hit 50 homeruns than you don't know much about baseball. The most important stats are very good.

Considering that Matsui plays in a left-handed hitter's paradise and bats behind 4 all-stars in his line-up he's gonna have to do a lot more to prove he's anyhting more than a SOLID major league player at this point. For me to give him the rookie of the year award he's going to have to BLOW AWAY the competition. He loses points for all the advantages he gets.

I think it's funny to note I think the only fans who expected Matsui to hit 50 HRs were the Yankee fans themselves.

AL - Mark Teixeira - 11 homers right now, 30 by the end of the year.
NL - Dontrelle Willis - 8 wins right now, 15 by the end of the year.

I guarantee both of these guys are your ROTY winners, barring injury.

Dontrelle is up on Webb by a lil but when it's all said and done I think Webb will take the ROY. Except for the wins they have almost identical numbers.
