I probably worded it wrong but more like shouldn't be there soaking up the atmosphere and adulation. Certainly he feels their numbers warrant going in especially pre-PEDs.

Kind of ironic to me that a closer is the first to get 100 percent, since for years there was a stigma about putting closers in period.

Glad Mussina got in...well deserved. All 4 were deserving, although it's amazing that Rivera got in unanimously after the players who haven't been. Of all the positions that gets in first with 100% of the vote, it's a closer!

That's it. Bonds' percentage will be interesting to see. 59.1%

                  Schilling 60.9%
                  Clemens 59.5%
It's interesting how high Bonds/Clemens were on the ballots revealed beforehand. I don't think guys like Halladay,Mussina,Martinez dropped too much from what we saw revealed up to today. I wonder if guys intentionally didn't want to reveal their ballots early because they were afraid of backlash of not putting in Bonds/Clemens?

So Mussina is as an Oriole and Halladay as a Blue Jay?

Oh man, I can't imagine the talking heads going on about middle relievers possibly getting into the Hall.

Now that an unanimous player has been selected I expect this to be a common occurrence for so called "inner circle" Hall of Famers.

Halladay for sure will be going in as a Blue Jay (he's even stated in the past he wants to go in with them, and for sure his family will want that too)

Mussina should go in with the O's. Better/longer career with O's than Yankees.

Pretty bummed to see that Fred McGriff doesn't make it...glad that Andruw hangs on, but he didn't get the bump I was hoping for.

Congrats to Mariano Rivera on his unanimous election. It couldn't of happen to a nicer person.

Also glad to see Edgar finally get in.

Mike Mussina. One of the most consistent pitchers of our time. Went out and did his job everytime he was on the mound..

Sad that Roy won't be at his own induction. Another great pitcher who gave his all when he was on the mound
